Your free trial: what it includes and what stays off
On this page
Every new account starts on a free trial, with no card and no charge. Tapper detects and reports invalid traffic in full, but Block does not block it until you move to a paid plan.
On Lift only, the trial starts and ends the same way and covers Lift's recommendations. The monitoring script, detection rules and blocking below are part of Block.
How the trial starts
- It starts on its own when you sign up.
- It belongs to the person who signed up. A workspace runs on its owner's newest live subscription, so every workspace you own uses your trial, and the people you invite work under it too.
- In Settings, Billing, the Plan row reads "trial" after the plan name and Trial ends shows the day it ends. The Terms of Service at tapper.ai/terms-of-service set out how trials work.

What the trial includes
- Connecting your ad accounts and, with Block, installing the monitoring script on your site.
- With Block, detection rules for each protected entity, so you can tune thresholds and features before blocking starts.
- With Block, the dashboard, Clicks and Flagged traffic pages, filled as they would be with blocking on, with labels adapted to monitor-only.
- Lift's recommendations for your Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Snapchat Ads and Apple Ads accounts on the Lift page.
- The seats in the Seats row of Billing, for the people you invite.
What stays off: blocking
Every rule set starts with Monitor-only on, and it stays on during the trial. With Block, once an ad account is connected, a Monitor-only notice sits at the top of every page and cannot be closed. A Lift only workspace has no blocking, during the trial or after. Monitor-only: why nothing is blocked yet and what changes when blocking starts explains what is written to your ad accounts in this mode.
Move to a paid plan
- In Settings, Billing, click Talk to sales. The Plans page opens.
- Click Book a call and pick a time with Tapper's team.
Tapper's plans are Lift, Block, Vantage and Enterprise: see tapper.ai/pricing. Once your paid plan is active, an Owner or Admin can turn Monitor-only off for each rule set to start blocking.
When the trial ends
Tapper shows the Your plan page with Your free trial has ended. Your data is kept. See Your free trial has ended or a payment failed.
