The Clicks page and the click details
On this page
The Clicks page lists every ad click Tapper tracked, one row per click, per connected ad platform. Use it to confirm clicks arrive after setup, follow one visitor's clicks, and see why Tapper flagged a click. In the sidebar, under Block, select Traffic; Clicks is the first tab. Lift only workspaces do not have this page.

Pick a platform
The page shows one platform at a time. Click the platform button at the start of the filter row to pick another. A platform you have not connected is marked Not connected.
The columns
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Verdict | Valid or Invalid, with a Converted badge beside it when the visitor converted. Under an invalid click, the reasons Tapper flagged it, the first one and how many more |
| Time | The time of the click to the second, with the day and time zone under it, in your workspace time zone |
| Campaign | The campaign that served the ad, with the account and the ad group (the ad set on Meta Ads) under it |
| Location | Where the click came from |
| Device | The device the click came from |
| Click ID | The ad platform's click identifier. On Google Ads the kind is printed underneath: GCLID, WBRAID or GBRAID. On a narrow window the column is left out and the click ID is in the click details |
| IP address | The visitor's IP address. The column is hidden when sensitive information is hidden in your workspace |
Click a row, or its chevron, to open the click. On a monitor-only workspace an invalid click is recorded, not blocked, and the click details say so. See Monitor-only.
Filters
The filter row holds the platform button, the date range and the chips Ads account, Campaign, Block reason and Was blocked, with View exports and Export at its end on Google Ads. Click a chip and tick one value or several; each pick applies at once and the list stays open until you press Esc or click outside. + Add filter adds Campaign type and, on Google Ads, Visitor ID. A chip's x removes it; Clear removes every filter but the date range. With several protected entities, the sidebar's entity switcher picks the one shown. On monitor-only workspaces Block reason and Was blocked read Invalid traffic type and Invalid traffic.
Visitor ID takes one id or several separated by commas. Paste an id from the click details or the Exclusions page to see every click that visitor made.
The click details
Click a row on any platform to open the details on the right. The header reads Valid click or Invalid click, with the platform, the time and a Converted badge when the visitor converted. Arrows step to the previous or next click; the X closes it.

- Why it's invalid or Why it's valid: the reasons Tapper flagged the click, or "Tapper found no reason to flag this click."
- Click: the Click ID, with a copy button, and on Google Ads the Keyword
- Ad and campaign: Ad account, Campaign and the Ad group (Ad set on Meta Ads)
- Visitor: the Visitor ID, with a copy button, Device, Location and the Website the visitor came to
- IP addresses: every IP address the visitor used, each marked Blocked or Not blocked (Flagged or Not flagged in monitor-only)
- Protection: whether the visitor has an IP block and an Audience block now
- Timeline: the visitor's clicks and IP blocks, newest first
Show this visitor's clicks at the bottom lists every click that visitor made. Copy the browser URL of an open click to share it with a colleague in the workspace. The Exclusions page uses the same layout, with Google Analytics evidence added: see The Exclusions page and the exclusion details.
Export clicks to CSV
On the Google Ads view only:
- Click Export and confirm in Export clicks data. Tapper builds the file.
- Click View exports to open Export History.
- Click Download next to the export. The file is a .csv.
Click stream is a different list
If your plan includes Links & Campaigns, Click stream on the Links pages opens a drawer with a live pulse dot. It shows clicks on your Tapper short links, not ad clicks, with the columns Time, Link, Destination, Place, Device and Referrer, and refreshes every 10 seconds.
