Dashboard filters, date ranges and time zone

On this page

The controls at the top of the dashboard decide what every card shows: which ad platform, which dates, and which ad accounts or campaigns.

Tabs

Dashboard, in the sidebar's Analytics section, has a row of tabs under the filters: Overview, Invalid traffic, Conversions, Geography, Mobile, Google Analytics (only when an entity has Google Analytics connected) and Performance Max. Switching tabs keeps your platform, dates and filters. A Lift only workspace has a single page with no tabs; see Lift on the dashboard.

The platform filter

The first chip in the filter row is Marketing platform. Pick a platform to recalculate the cards for it; with nothing picked, the dashboard shows all platforms. A platform with no connected account shows a banner inviting you to connect one.

The Mobile and Performance Max tabs have no filter row; Mobile has its own app picker and platform toggle. On Google Analytics, Marketing platform is the only filter.

Pick a date range

The date button shows the dates in use, such as "October 2, 2026 - October 8, 2026". The default is the last 7 days in your workspace time zone.

  1. Click the date button.
  2. Click a preset: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Previous month, Last 12 months or Last quarter. It applies at once and closes the picker.

For your own range, type it in the field that reads "Type a range: 7d, 2w, sep 12 - oct 4" and press Enter, or click the first and last day on the calendar, then Apply. Cancel closes without changes; Clear returns to the last 7 days.

The picker's footer reads Days are cut in followed by the workspace time zone your days follow. See Workspace time zone: which day your numbers count in.

The data updates every 4 hours, so Today fills in over the day. With demo data on, the figures are examples: see Demo data: look around before your own data arrives.

Filter the cards

With several protected entities, the entity switcher in the sidebar picks the one the dashboard shows. The filters narrow it further:

  1. Click a chip, such as Ads account, Campaign type, Campaign or Block reason.
  2. Tick one value or several. Each pick applies at once and the list stays open. A list of more than 7 values has a Find field. Press Esc or click outside to close it.
  3. To leave values out, switch the list from Is to Is not.
  4. For a filter not in the row, click + Add filter.
FilterWhat it narrows the dashboard to
Marketing platformOne ad platform. Nothing picked means all platforms. It is the only filter that takes a single value.
Ads accountSpecific connected ad accounts.
Campaign typeSpecific campaign types.
CampaignSpecific campaigns. Type to search.
Block reasonThe reasons visitors were blocked. It reads Invalid traffic reason on a monitor-only workspace and is not offered on a Lift only workspace.
TrafficAd Traffic or Organic Traffic, from + Add filter.

Each filter shows as a chip, such as "Block reason is not VPN". Click a chip to change it, or its x to remove it. Clear removes every filter except the dates.

Chips on a card

When a card cannot follow a choice, or counts days on another clock, a chip on the card says so.

ChipWhat it means
"{Filter} filter not applied"The card ignores that filter and shows the figure without it.
"{Filter} filter partially applied"Only part of the data behind the card could be filtered.
Your dates, or Selected datesThe card follows the date range at the top of the page, unlike some cards around it.
Current stateThe card is a snapshot of what is true now. It does not move when you change the dates.
"Rolling {N} days"The card is built over its own rolling window, not the dates you picked.
Ad account time zoneThe card is built from your ad platform's daily figures, so its days are the ad account's days, not the workspace's.
GA property time zoneThe card shows Google Analytics data, so its days follow the GA4 property's time zone.
UTC time zoneThe card is built from daily totals in UTC, so its days do not follow the workspace time zone.

These cards use their own rolling window and say so in their caption:

  • Keyword-level invalid traffic on Invalid traffic: "Rolling window · ignores the date filter".
  • Keyword by conversion on Conversions: also a rolling window.
  • Traveling Users on Geography: "Seen in 2+ countries · rolling window, not the date filter".
  • Placement exclusions on Geography: "Date filter not applied".
