How Tapper decides an IP is invalid
Tapper checks each ad click against the rule set that covers it and what it knows about the visitor's IP address, for example whether it belongs to a data center, a VPN, a proxy or the Tor network. It also looks at how often the IP clicked your ads and how the visitor behaved on your site.
When Tapper flags a click and blocking is on, it excludes the source in your ad account: see How Tapper works for what that means on each platform.
Tune the rules to your business with Set invalid click thresholds and Suggested thresholds by industry. How Tapper decides a click is invalid goes through every check.
