Is Vantage a fit for your business?
On this page
Before anything is built, Tapper runs the Tapper Fit Check on your data and your ad accounts. It answers four questions, and you get the verdict in writing.
1. Is your data fit?
- Enough order or outcome history, with a customer ID on each order.
- Values you can trust: tax known, refunds recorded in your store, no returns handled somewhere else.
- A source on each order: a UTM tag or an ad click ID.
- Every affiliate network you use identified, so its orders are never counted as ad sales.
2. Is there room for a predicted value?
A prediction helps only when customers differ in what they are worth after the first order, and something in the first order hints at it. If the first order already ranks your customers well, a prediction adds little.
3. Are your ad accounts ready?
- Each purchase counted once, by one primary purchase action.
- Enough conversions for Google's value-based bidding.
- Campaigns that can bid on value and are not limited by budget.
- Most ad orders tied to the click that brought them.
- Your written yes to value bidding, and read access to every ad account in scope.
4. Can a test tell?
A test has to be able to see a change worth having, in a sensible time, with two halves that differ only in the value they bid on. A small account can pool stores or run for longer.
The verdict
| Verdict | What it means |
|---|---|
| Go | Every check passes. Tapper plans your pilot with you. |
| Fix first | Each fix is named, with who does it: you, your agency or Tapper. No model is trained and no predicted value is sent until the fixes are done. |
| Stop | Tapper tells you why in one sentence, and sends your clean order value to Google instead of a prediction. |
