Connect Apple Ads for Lift

Apple Ads has no sign-in to hand over. An admin of your Apple Ads organization invites Tapper with the API Account Read Only role, Tapper's team links the organization to your workspace, and its App Store ad accounts connect to your entity. Connecting changes nothing in Apple Ads.
You need the Owner or Admin role in Tapper, an account admin in Apple Ads, and Lift on for the workspace. The Apple Ads row is on the wizard's Connect an ad account step and the Add an account page.
1. Invite Tapper in Apple Ads
The account admin opens Account Settings > User Management > Invite Users, enters a first and last name, support@tapper.ai as the Apple Account and the role API Account Read Only, then presses Send Invite. Tapper only reads, so it needs no other role.
2. Tell Tapper you sent it
On the Apple Ads row, optionally fill in Apple organisation name (optional), then press Done, I've invited you. The row shows when you asked, for example "Asked Oct 19, 10:30 GMT+3. Tapper links it, usually the same day."
3. Tapper links your organization
Tapper's team accepts the invitation and links the organization. Its App Store ad accounts then connect on their own. With several entities, tell your Tapper contact which one, or connect them yourself. The row then lists each account with its ID, organization, currency and time zone, marked Connected or Connected to another entity.
4. Connect accounts yourself
- Press Connect Apple Ads and tick each account, up to 50 at a time. One on another entity cannot be ticked.
- Press Connect (Connect 3 accounts with your count), then Done.

Tapper reads each account's last 30 days and older history at once, then every day (How Lift works on Apple Ads).
If something goes wrong

In the Connect Apple Ads window:
- Some accounts may be missing: the list may be short. Try again later.
- "The linked Apple Ads organisation has no App Store ad accounts.": it has only Apple Maps accounts, or none. Ask your Apple Ads admin which organization holds your App Store accounts.
- "Nothing was connected. Try again.": press Connect again.
When some accounts fail, each shows its reason. Press Back to the list to retry, or Close.

If someone removes Tapper's user from your Apple Ads organization, Tapper stops reading. Invite support@tapper.ai again with API Account Read Only.
