How Lift works on Apple Ads
Lift checks every connected Apple Ads (formerly Apple Search Ads) account once a day and lists what it finds as cards in Recommendations, ranked by the money at stake each day. To connect an account, see Connect Apple Ads for Lift.
Which accounts Lift checks
On Lift only workspaces and workspaces with Block alike, while:
- the account is connected to an entity of your workspace;
- Tapper's team has linked its Apple Ads organization to your workspace;
- Tapper's user still has access to the account in Apple Ads.
There is nothing to switch on: Business details has no Apple Ads area. If someone removes Tapper's user from your Apple Ads organization, Lift stops reading the account until access is restored.
What Lift reads
- Performance: campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ads and search terms, day by day, with spend, impressions, taps, installs and downloads. Spend stays in the account's own currency.
- Impression share: for each promoted app, your share, rank and search popularity by country and search term.
- Suggested bids: Apple's suggested bid for each keyword.
- Structure and history: campaigns, ad groups, keywords, negative keywords, ads and product pages, and Apple's change history (what changed, old and new values, who changed it).
Apple leaves low-volume search terms out of its report. Lift keeps the remainder as one line, so a keyword's search terms still add up to the keyword.
On the Lift page
- Apple Ads joins the platform tabs above the list. All lists every platform's cards together.
- Each card names the campaign, ad group or keyword, what Lift found, the money at stake a day and what to change: see Read a Lift card: money, priority and evidence.
- Make the change in Apple Ads, then press Mark as done, or dismiss the card: see Fix, mark as done, dismiss and revert.
- The Lift report includes your Apple Ads accounts.
