How Lift works on LinkedIn Ads
On this page
Lift checks every connected LinkedIn Ads account once a day and lists what it finds as cards in Recommendations, ranked by the money at stake each day. To connect an account, see Connect LinkedIn Ads for Lift.
Which accounts Lift checks
- Every LinkedIn Ads account connected to an entity, on Lift only workspaces and workspaces with Block alike. There is nothing to switch on: Business details has no LinkedIn area.
- LinkedIn test accounts cannot be connected, because LinkedIn reports no data for them.
- An account marked Needs reconnecting is not read until you reconnect it: see Reconnect an ad account that stopped working.
What Lift reads
| Campaign Manager | What Lift keeps |
|---|---|
| The ad account | Its name, type, currency, status and serving status. |
| Campaigns | How many there are. |
| Ad sets | How many there are. |
| Ads | How many there are. |
Where your LinkedIn role allows, Lift also reads the account's conversions and their linked campaigns, its Insight Tag domains and its LinkedIn Audience Network preferences.
On the Lift page
- A LinkedIn Ads tab joins the platform tabs above the list. All lists every platform's cards together.
- Each card names the campaign, ad set or ad, what Lift found, the money at stake a day and what to change: see Read a Lift card: money, priority and evidence.
- Make the change in Campaign Manager, then press Mark as done, or dismiss the card: see Fix, mark as done, dismiss and revert.
- The Lift report includes your LinkedIn Ads accounts.
Where to check the account
Setup > Ad accounts > LinkedIn Ads ("Your LinkedIn Ads accounts.") lists each connected account with its Account ID and a chip: Connected, or Needs reconnecting with the cause. Press Reconnect to sign in with LinkedIn again.
