Block by country

Block by country adds a layer beyond Google Ads' own location settings: Tapper blocks clicks from countries you do not target, by the country of the visitor's IP address.

How to turn it on

  1. In the sidebar, under Setup, click Rule sets and pick the rule set.
  2. Open the Countries tab and switch on Block by country.
  3. Choose Block these countries (everyone else is allowed) or Only allow these countries (everyone else is blocked), then add the countries.

Country changes save as you make them. The full article is Block or allow clicks by country.

Why use it

You block unwanted geo-clicks, so your ad spend goes to genuine traffic.
