Why use Tapper
On this page
Protect your paid marketing
Some of the clicks you pay for are not genuine. Tapper finds the clicks that were never going to become customers and keeps them away from your ads. How much invalid traffic you get depends on your industry, campaign types and platforms, so Tapper measures it on your own account.
Invalid traffic is common
Invalid traffic (IVT) is any engagement with your paid campaigns that has no chance of converting. It can be malicious, or collateral damage from web scrapers and data-collecting bots. Common sources:
- Paid bot traffic services
- Competitors clicking your ads
- Organized invalid traffic, such as publishers inflating their payout
- Brand haters clicking repeatedly
- Bad ad placements and accidental clicks
Built for professional marketers
For agencies and in-house marketers:
- Manage several brands and websites in one workspace.
- Connect several ad accounts to each brand.
- Invite your team and give each person a role.
Customize your blocking
Tapper works out of the box with suggested rules per industry. You can also set:
- Click limits
- Block or allow countries
- VPN blocking
- Device blocking
- Behavior analysis
See what happens to your traffic
The Clicks page lists your ad clicks with the platform, device, country and how often each visitor clicked. The dashboard shows how much traffic was invalid and why, and Exclusions shows what Tapper excluded.
Platforms
Tapper Block detects invalid traffic on Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Snapchat Ads and Apple Ads, using many signals at once. On Google Ads it excludes IP addresses and flagged visitors. On Meta Ads a custom audience keeps flagged visitors out of your ad sets. On TikTok Ads it records and reports invalid traffic and leaves your ad groups as they are.
