Minimum seconds on site
A site bounce is when a visitor opens one page and leaves without triggering any other event. Bounces can hurt your Google Ads Quality Score and ad position, so Tapper can block visitors who leave too fast.
Watch the video: Minimum seconds on site
You choose the seconds a visitor must stay. With 3, a visitor who stays less than 3 seconds counts as bounced and that visit's IP address is blocked. Keep it low so you do not block real visitors. A new entity starts at 2 seconds.
Set it
- Under Setup, click Rule sets and pick the rule set.
- On Detection features, type the seconds in the Minimum seconds on site row. It saves shortly after you stop typing.
It needs Tapper's monitoring script on your landing pages.
IPs it blocks carry the block reason Instant bounce on the Clicks and Exclusions pages and the dashboard's Invalid traffic tab. See Suspicious ad clicks and minimum seconds on site.
